Welcome to the most current collection: PRESENCE.
This collection was made in my new studio. Having finally found the SPACE I needed and the mindfulness lessons I learned, I tried to channel the energy, frequency and vibrations of my emotions as they arised.
Rather than conceptual topics or thoughts, I focused on my emotions and portrayed them as weather patterns. We see the portayal of the overwhelm they can present as well as the comfort that comes forth from the realization that you are not your emotion. The paintings show the changing nature of emotions. They say something about how patterns can occur and how the past is merely a bent subjective thought in our minds.
Having a proper space also meant I could attempt a more adventurous size - something that I very much enjoyed doing. Here we also notice how I start to feel more comfortable in synchronising myself and my body language with the works.
Lastly, light enters the playground as an important factor in the overall look and feel of the pieces in this collection.

These works are not just visual / decorative pieces. Having had them around me for so long, I see them as my extended family. Signing them off with just a certificate of authenticity or a signature would not honour our connection. One of my dreams is to create a family-tree that contains all of the friends and family who support me. Purchasers and supporters can choose to opt-in and stay connected with me or with each other.
